I'm picking up a new P22 tomorrow. I've read the sticky. Are they any better now than they were? I'm going to run a Tac65 on it. What letter codes do I need to look for? What letter codes do I absolutly not want? I havn't bought it yet. And I already have a Ruger. I want something different that I can suppress and the P22 looks like a compact package.

I have an AG date code and it runs great.  Bought it on the EE here, and can't be happier.

Picked mine up yesterday. Took it to the range today and ran 100 rounds of mini mags and 200 rounds of Fed bulk through it. It shot low. I put in the lower front sight which brought it close to where I wanted it. Out of 300 rounds I had 3 failure to feeds. Slide went forward but didn't feed. That was using bulk. New pistol getting broken in, not a big deal. Trigger is pretty stout. I hope it lightens up with time. Accuracy was acceptable considering the trigger. I came home and checked the internals. I had a slight bit of peening on the slide where the trigger bar ears hit. I rounded the edges of the ears. So far I'm pretty satisfied with it. I'll get my can adapter Monday. Thats really what I got the P22 for anyhow.

Yep. I use the can on my 22/45 but the P22 looks like a decent compact package.

I got my adapter today. Man, what a combination. I can't believe hoe quite the P22 with a Tac65 is. Much quiter than my TacSol PacLite 22/45. I'm very happy with it.
