[ARCHIVED THREAD] - p22 front sight

My only complaint thus far about the P22 (knock on wood) has been that my front sight fell out and was lost. Walther sent me two new ones to replace it. These are the #3 front sights. I was wondering which front sight came stock on the 3.4" barrel models ( I think Walther may have sent me the 5" barrel sights and it seems there'd be a difference), and if anyone has found their gun to be more accurate with a different sight?

While waiting on the #3s to come, I used #4 and it was horrible-- far too large.

Also, I have seen the Hi-Viz front sights on P22s. Anyone have any experience with those?

Really I was just hoping someone could look at the front sight on their 3.4" P22 and tell me what number is on it. That way I'll know what the stock set-up was.

My P22 came with a #3 sight installed in the front (3.4in bbl).

I switched it out for the #2 because the gun was shooting low.

Its dead on now.

I'm at work so maybe you could tell by the pic. This site is zeroed at 20ft. I'm having trouble getting the rounds in the mag though. (Just Kidding)

i swapped mine out with the hi-viz front sight and its a bit larger round but since this was only intended for a fun plinking pistol with accuracy expectations of ok i like them.
