| I have always wanted one of these since the late 90's. Anyway, I have never even seen a Compact in the wild to compare. How large is it really, say compared to a PPK or full size P5? I can't find any good videos on it or anything. Looks like prices are around ~ $2000 on auction sites, etc. Is this the average price? Any info or impressions are welcome, good or bad. It would obviously be an emotional purchase. Only interested in the Compact. |

I would be more concerned with that than length. If the heights are really the same, I will probably pass and keep it as one of those guns I will never own despite wanting to.

| I keep trying to get one, but I've thus far been unwilling to pay the $2k they regularly fetch. Have seen a few in the $1500 neighborhood and have been close to taking the plunge. Keep holding out and hoping I'll score for a few hundred bucks less. Also have a P5 that's a heck of a nice pistol and that kind of keeps me from splurging on the C. |

I cannot attest to the difference is size. I picked up a P5 Compact and have yet to shoot it so I am chomping at the bit to get it to the range.
Need to run some lead into paper to verify it's accuracy and handling. It feels extremely comfortable in the hand, it is very easy to field strip and nice looking. Bill
