Today I was firing my P99 for the first time. After 2 mags I noticed a big pin on top of the trigger coming out to the right side. The pistol never had a FTF or a FTE but I had to keep and eye on this pin so it doesn't got out.
Is this normal? How can I fix it? This is my 4th Walther and all previous firearms have been perfect out of the box. The thing is I wouldn't like that to happen in a SD scenario. I choose it because I though is was a proven design. If I cant fix it for free under warranty this definitely going to be on sale for a VP9. Today I went shooting 2 mags to check if it happens again and it managed to nearly put it out completely. So I took a few pics just in case. http://i65.tinypic.com/2s656c0.jpg http://i65.tinypic.com/2aakkt0.jpg http://i67.tinypic.com/2n1gyzn.jpg http://i63.tinypic.com/16ghiko.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/29besmb.jpg |

I would contact Walther Arms. They should email you a free shipping label to box it up and send it in. I had to do this recently with my PPQ Navy (different issue), and had it back in less than two weeks. This just sent my PPS off for the slide stop upgrade and it was back fast. They also included a Walther logo-ed silicon wipe cloth when they sent it back. |
