| I have had a 111 for a little under a year and I have a problem with the firearm. I load up a mag and pull the trigger and nothing happens. sometimes ill have to push the silide foreward a bit and it will fire and then the very next one it wont fire, sometimes i will have to push the mag some times even after doing both it wont work. have any of you experienced this..? |

Are you running it dry?
I grease the slide after cleaning. Also check the spring to make sure you don't have a collapsed coil. Spray it with Break free and see if that helps. Other than that I don't know, I have 1 PT111 and 2 PT145's and have never had any problems at all. Many thousands of rounds. |

Nope i clean it after every time ive fired it. I even took it to where i purchased it from and they cant seem to find anything wrong. I want to send it to Taurus but i dont want to be with out it for almost 3 months. It is my primary carry weapon.
It is a first Gen, 111 so i am not sure if thats part of the problem or what. |
