Hello gents,

Anyone have any experience with Taurus customer service ? ?

I've had a 22 caliber model 94 about a year now and it's been a great little revolver.  Our club had a NRA / Women on Target program yesterday and the little 94 went along.

Well . . . some time during the day the rear sight blade fell off.  Not the entire rear sight, just the blade.

I'm going to call Taurus in the morning.  So . . . any experience with Taurus customer service ? ? ?

Thanks ! !

I do and im pissed!

sent my NEW FROM THE GUN STORE pt1911 back to them because it looked used after I got it home and apart.

the 3rd person I talked to said sure send it back
the 4th person
they have had it for 2 weeks now. called friday and they said another 4 weeks untill someone even looks at it.
then to top it off he even looked up the year it was made... 2007..
I told them I shot my other new 1911 200 times and the wear on it still isnt as much as the one I sent back
I told them I wanted a refund and they said probably not going to happen and even if that was going to happen it wouldnt be until someone looks at it in 4 weeks.

so if you send it back in dont expect it for a couple of months.

if you can part from it for a while go for it, if not see if they will just send you a new part.

also call in the afternoon or first thing in the morning they are busy all day.

For something as simple as the rear sight I'd take it to my trusty gunsmith.

My brand  new PT92 failed miserably at the range last weekend.  I thought briefly to send it back to Taurus. Then I thought, "why"  send them back their failure wasting my time waiting for possibly more failure. It might cost me more this way, but it will be right when I get it back guaranteed from my gunsmith.
