I am thinking about getting a PT-111 Pro or it's bigger brother the PT-140 in 40S&W. As a carry piece, just wondering what the word is on these.

My wife has the PT-111 pro, its a decent gun for the price, I did have to do a little smoothing out on the slide release, it was rough. But it goes boom everytime.
Same story with my father in laws PT-140. same gun, bigger holes.

I use my PT111 as a car gun, not very expensive if it gets stolen. It is very reliable, I have never had a misfire with it.

I just spoke with a friend and he sold his due to the trigger pull and difficulty in breaking it down. He said the trigger pull was about 12 pounds and he could break down his Glock and Ruger about 3-4 times int he time it would take to do his PT-111.
