Just bought an M94.

When I got it to the house and shot it I thought something was wrong with it... the damn thing must have a 15 LB. single action trigger pull! DA seems about 9 LB which i would expect, but DAMN, the SA is terrible!

On the plus side, even with a shitty SA pull, the little gun is pretty accurate out of a 4" barrel.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

I have the 4" M94 stainless in .22 mag with the same problem. Once you get used to it, it tends not to bother you too much, IMO.

I'm happy with it because I wanted a heavier trigger for coon hunting. This revolver is going to be riding in my pocket a lot while I crawl around in old barns, so the heavier trigger adds another margin of safety.

From what I've heard by doing a little research on here before I bought it, it's normal on the little Taurus guns.

both of my 94s feel like they need a cheater bar to double action shoot.  crappy triggers but i like the revolvers' size.
