Hello, first post here. I recently picked up a 24/7 9mm, so i'm still getting the hang of assembly/disassembly. Tonight i was in the process of reassembling the handgun and ran into some trouble. The assembly pin that pops in and out has always been kind of tight going either direction. Well, the pin absolutely refused to pop back in flush with the gun so I grabbed the magazine and was pounding on it to get it to go back in. It didn't work too well, and now the "wire" that seems to bisect the hole where the pin goes seems a little crooked. Has this happened to anyone and what's my next step? Thanks. |

I had a hard time getting the take down pin back in when I first got my 24/7. I took an awl and pushed the spring down with the tip and the pin went in place. Check out Taurus Armed if you still have trouble. |

Ok, so I looked in the manual and found the technical terms used. I have accidentally bent the slide catch spring and it's getting in the way of the assembly latch. The spring is slightly bent inwards, and it's getting in the way. I'm currently trying to gently straighten it out with pliers. Anyone got a better idea? |
