The link pin for a pt1911 is very loose and walks to the right and left.  What to do?  Get an oversized pin, or ping the metal to get it to hold?

Call Taurus and see what they will do to fix it?..

It's a non-issue from the 1911 forums.  The frame traps the pin, so it doesn't drift.  Just have to be careful when disassembly, so the pin isn't lost.  Still Taurus should have done better.

It's better than the problem mine had. The threads on the two sections of the guide rod stripped out at around 2000 rounds, so I clamped the pieces and welded them together. I ground and polished the bead down and liquid blued it, and nobody that has field stripped it has noticed it yet. (4K rounds now)

That's why I replaced the FLGR with a GI one.  Easy to fieldstrip and none of the loosening up when you need it most crap.
