what would a P44 be under the new model #'s for taurus?

I'm not sure there was a "P44" If you meant the .44 Mag revolver, that was the M44 or Model 44. It is still listed as such.

the model i'm looking for is in .40 sw.my spousal unit thinks it was a p44.i have no idea.thanx for the help
