| Am I the only one disappointed with the belt clips that come with the MTAC? I had a CTAC years ago and the clips were nice. They would hook back under the belt like every other companies belt clips. My MTAC clips have no hook to grab onto the belt so everytime I bend over or sit, the rear clip slides off my belt. I've used it with a 5 stitch wilderness belt and an Aker leather gun belt. I just ordered the Crossbreed belt clips as I've seen some of you guys using them on your MTACs. I was going to order a set of Comp-Tac clips in 1.5" so I could wear them with another belt but these things are not worth $17. If I paid $5 for them I'd be disappointed. |
| I have their nuetral cant version which I don't think these belt clips were designed for. Other than the clips, this holster is great. It's very comfortable for AIWB carry due to the leather backing. I did have to trim some of the leather near the bottom because it folded over from sitting. |

Mine hook on the bottom edge of my belt.
Are you saying that you want the clips to hook not only on the bottom edge but on the back-side of the belt so that the clip comes out of your pants, over the top edge of the belt, across the face of the belt, under the bottom edge, and back up the back-side slightly? If so, get C-Clips. |

For $7.50 shipped, they're a heck of a lot better. Raven sells a belt loop clip for their Phantom holsters which is designed just like the MTAC clips only they have the snap belt loops and also offer a clip that hooks back under the belt. I'm going to order a set of those. The loop should not give me any trouble and like all the other clips being sold by different holster makers, they're still cheaper than comptac's. I don't know how they can sell those flimsy things for $17.50. I'm still loving the holster, though. It has to be one of the most comfortable IWB holsters I've ever owned that allows a full combat grip. |
