The Neatfreak by Maxpedition is a pretty nice bag, and I also have the fatboy. Both allow for carry of a medium sized gun and the gear I EDC except I also need a pocket/sleeve/whatever that is 10x8 or close to it in size.
The Neatfreak's largest is 9.5x7.5 and almost works. Does Maxpedition have any competitors that have the velcro areas for holster/gun? |

Talking (er, typing to myself here I guess) :-)
But may have found one....the Kifaru Koala...just released a few days ago and ships in April. http://www.kifaruforums.net/showthread.php?t=20128 has a lot of nice photos in it, and https://www.kifaru.net/koala.html is the product page. What I especially like is how quick of access you have to the rear gun compartment, and the front compartment looks to hold a lot of stuff. Only thing that seems to be missing is some front quick access pockets for your frequent use stuff (billfold, keys, knife), but can probably work around that. |

I just ordered the Maxpedition Manta. They reveiw it at Military morons. I will be using it to carry my S&W M&P40 and netbook and other goodies. Main pocket is 10x9 with a vercro field plus a 9x9 rear pocket also with a velcro field. I will be using the rear pocket for the CCW and the front for the netbook. Optics planet has it for $52 with free shipping but it's back ordered. At least in OD green.
