| I just bought an XD45, and it is my first handgun, i would like to put some night sights on it. Who has the best night sights and how do you put them on? Any other ideas for good accessories for my XD... thanks! |
| I have the xd45 with the 5inch barrel. The shop where I bought it from had their gunsmith install trijicon night sights on it. i bought it with the sights on and love it ... however I wish I would have bought the sights separate and sent the slide in to Springfield to have them do the installation. The gun smith slipped and hit my slide with his tool and it was nicked and scratched up before i ever left the store. I am not the type of person who cries about a little scratch on my gun but I prefer if I am the one who scratches it myself. Anyways the trijicon sights are an excellent choice on the Springfield xd45 |

I got mine installed at Gander Mountain. I'm not sure if they have stores in Georgia, but try checking around at local gun shops. If you go to the hometown forum, you might be able to get a few personal references. I just got regular ol green Trijicons from opticsplanet.com.
Like others have said, the sights are on there REAL tight. |
