Looking at two different holster mounts. I'm looking at the Safariland 6285 (with the 1.5" drop) and the g-code RTI w/ the duty belt slide.

I guess my question is this:
I know that the safariland has the hood and is a lvl 3 retention holster. How secure is the g-code? it's open top and looks to be a tension holster. how is it while your running, jumping etc? same with the blade tech DOH & Offset/

I have been using the G-Code with RTI system for a little over a month now.
I added a RTI wheel to the HSGI UDHP and just swapped the Holster from my Duty Belt Slide attachment.
I liked the Duty Belt Slide for what it did but wanted a more secure platform while going through a rifle class last weekend.
The adjustable tension was plenty enough for the Running and movement at the class.

beautimus. i was thinking the safariland 6285, but i like the g-code as well. the blackhawk serpa lvl2 was third on the list, but i don't think it will drop low enough for my liking.

don't suppose you have a picture of you with it on do you? i'd love to see how low it sits.

I'll post pics tonight.
I use the Serpa on a paddle holster when I rock a pistol on my waist, open carry, or shoot USPSA..
