So....
...I am on the market for tac lights for a universal pistol rail. I have used M3s in the past. They were ok. The M3X is much better in my opinion. I was about to order when I saw the TLR-1 for about $30 less and most the same features.

Anyone used one? What do you think?

I have a 5% coupon for optics planet that will keep these lights under $100 and they have free UPS shipping. I plan on buying three, so that is a significant savings.

I use one on my G19 for the bedroom gun.  Good light for clearing the house at night with instant on/off.  Seems bright enough to me.

They are bright lights but not detach your retinas bright like some of the surefires are.  That is what I meant when I said it was extremely bright.
