I'm new here, so lets start by saying hi. Now the question / situation. I'm looking at a Blade Tech holster for my H&K USP 45 Tactical pistol with an attached UTL flash light. She is soon to have a new friend in an AAC Black Box suppressor. Now for the questions:

1 - Does anyone have experience with the Blade Tech Holsters?

2 - Is the bottom end of the holster able to be drilled out and modified so I can holster my rig with suppressor attached?

Much Thanks.

Since on one else has replied...  Blade Tech seems to get good marks from people who like that type of holster. I don't carry one as I don't care for the type, but many do. Can't comment on modifying one I've never owned, of course.

I bought my first Blade Tech holster in '96 and it still in perfect shape after many schools etc.. Good stuff! Contact Blade Tech and they may be able to make one to your specs or let you know about the feasability of modifying it.

BladeTech does indeed have good customer service if things break.  The problem is their holsters scratch the guns finish. I carried my USP compact in one and after drawing the gun a few times I ve had scuff marks on my slide and frame too. I would recommend Safariland holsters for your Tactical gun. Their holsters are lined with suede and would protect the finish well. But if you dont care about the finish on your gun then use BT.

I carry my USP, USP compact and USP Tactical in Safarilands. Pricey but worth it.

I have a Bladetech ordered for my Glock... it's a G-Lock, they're made to take a whoopin, so I'm not too worried.
