| I bought into the hype, that and the fact that they are made 30minutes down the road for me made it a clear choice. When my fiancé asked what I wanted for my birthday it was an easy decision. Im not sure I could be anymore unhappy with it. The handle of my glock 19 pokes my shirt out like im pitching a tent no matter where I carry it or how I rearrange the clips. I am beginning to think that it is not a coincidence that tactical edge's website only shows pictures of the incog being worn in different positions while the shirt is pulled up. Not one concealment shot that I could find. I have a $10 Remora holster that conceals way better than the incog. If it was not a gift from my girl I would have sold or trashed it already. I don't have the heart to tell her she wasted $70 I really want it to work, I mean it looks very nice. No problems with the workmanship. As it is I am out of ideas and almost out of patience. If this is the best it gets I will be removing the clips and using them on a raven concealment body that I have. Has anyone had issues with the incog concealing their pistol? Are there just a lot of haley strategic fanboys? Or am I missing something very simple? |

Where are you carrying it? 1200, 3-4? Are you using a good belt?
I have found it conceals my 19 very well @ 12. I have customized mine a little, I only use one clip, the one closest to the trigger guard. I have removed the additional kydex where the second clip would be mounted. It is easy on and off, very minimalist. I do not dress to the gun either, it conceals very well in any style. I'm 5'11'' 170. I'm somewhat of a fanboy but its a quality rig, some people prefer other options for AIWB carry. I will own the incog shadow as soon as its available. |
| I typically carry at 1. I have tried at 3-4 and find it does conceal better than at 1. I have two soe belts, I would say the quality is good. I have tried moving the clips around as stated earlier. I have not tried with only one clip though. I will give it a try. I really want to like this holster. I appreciate the response and suggestion. |

I don't own it, but by looking at the pictures and some of the YouTube gun celebrities showing it off, it appears they all like to sport it at the 12:00 position. Much to the right or left of that it looks to wide and flat to me to follow the curve of the body which would suggest why the butt of the grip is pushing out so far. Also, a gentlemen on here who makes Kydex holsters places a foam wedge at the base of his holsters to push the top of the holster into your body and he contours it so it will follow the curve of your body as well. Phlster is doing this now as well: http://youtu.be/odelY631WJA You could probably make a trip to home depot, get some foam and some adhesive and do it to your INCOG as well. If it doesn't work, just peel it off, no harm, no foul :) Personally, I don't do appendix, it pokes me in my jiggly and wiggly bits too much. The only time I do it is if I am carrying into a "gun free" area and I don't want to risk being detected. For that I just move my PJ Holster with a 15 degree cant up front. Not the best draw, but hell, I still have my gun on me and that's better than leaving it in the car. It does conceal nicely, but mainly because no one is looking at my crotch and if I bend over my gut hides it
Carry Guns: Glock 26 / Glock 42 Build: 6'0 215 |
| This is why people have drawers full of holsters. Holsters that work for some people are horrible for others. I tried an incog for my M&Pc and quickly sold it because it was uncomfortable and didn't conceal on me at all. It was disappointing because it took over 2 months to get it after I ordered it and I sold it less than a week after getting it. |

I removed the clip and must say, I was pleasantly surprised. It is like a different holster. It fits and conceals MUCH better. Its also definitely much easier on and off. I will be following suit and removing the area where the other clip was as it will not be going back on. I may also try the foam idea as another user suggested. |
| I do not own a light bearing IWB holster yet. I have OWB from raven that carries my glock with the tlr1 mounted. I like the look of the shadow. I also noticed they relocated the clips. The pictures I saw also look like two different holsters. A smaller 1 clip and a larger 2 clip version. I am definitely interested in checking out the smaller of the two. As I stated earlier gcode is right down the road. Several local shops keep their products in stock so hopefully I will be able to avoid a several month wait when they are released. Thanks again for everyones input. You guys have been a big help. |

I signed up today just so i could reply to this post. I too bought into the hype and sweet videos regarding the INCOG.
I too have an INCOG IWB holster for my G26 and am not a fan. I've tried carrying at multiple positions and adjusted the clips in many times (even removed one) but I cannot find a position that conceals and is comfortable in any way. The angled clips designed to push the weapon into your body don't work. They generally end up pushing your belt away from your body if you are wearing a not so stiff belt, increasing the imprint of the holster. If you are wearing a stiff belt, they just bend. They are not strong enough to push the weapon anywhere. Also without the ability to adjust the cant much, you end up having your pistol grip imprinting a lot, IMO (yes even with the G26 - +2 mag). Overall I found it too bulky and with my body type, if I carried appendix, it looked as if had some mysterious bulge below my stomach, but above my crotch. Reminded me of the Superbad movie conversation about tucking your junk . Not something I am looking for in an IWB holster.
I now use it as a bag holster to cover the trigger guard while in my gym bag/backpack/glove compartment/etc, but even the kydex designed to cover the trigger guard has a gap in it. Unlikely, but it could allow something thin to get into the trigger guard. It would have been very easy to cover the entire trigger guard and would have added an insignificant amount of weight, no bulk. Best bet is to use it as a bag holster and move on to something else. If you don't like it now, I'm guessing you won’t like it in the future. I'm ordering a raven concealment vanguard 2 next. Good luck! |
