Will hot Kydex (300~ degrees) molded in a Glock in a press harm my Glock?? Or a Blued Colt 1911?? If so is there a better heat for the Kyde, or should I just buy a blue gun??

I mold mine somewhere around 320°F.
The only precaution I take with polymer pistols is having a mag taped up so it fits tight inserted.
I don't do anything to metal guns, a layer or two of blue tape will keep the fit from being overly tight, bluing is done at much higher temps, if everything is clean there should be no damage.

Check out the DIY Kydex thread if you haven't.

The colors can leech on certain polymers or pistols, lookin at ruger specifically, but as mentioned you must have a mag inserted at minimum. DIY mold drone would be a great investment for 40 bucks and you have everything already blocked out for you and no worries messing up your actual gun. I would advise against blue guns. They are inconsistent in size and were never made for holster making.
