I wanted another Uncle Mikes Kydex Holster as a range holster for my new Glock 30. Checking online I found that they make it for the Model 21, but not the 30. I've had one for my Model 22 for sometime and it works well. So I bought the one for the Model 21. When I got home I unscrewed the paddle from the back of the holster, inserted my empty pistol and measured to where I wanted to cut it off. I removed the pistol and used my band saw to cut approximately 3/4 of an inch off the bottom of the holster. I then took some emery cloth to the cut edge to round it smooth. I replaced the paddle and it works great. I know I could have left the extra, but I hate to have extra holster there that isn't needed. Yes I know others make Kydex just for the 30, but this was available locally and you can't beat the price. Hope this helps anyone who might be in the same situation.
