Me and my friend were out at the shooting range he is from out of town and wanted to try a Glock 21 in 45. Well after about 100 rounds kaboom. I look over at him as he throws the gun down. I know that this is most likely an ammo issue, the ammo was from big 5 it cost about 26.00 it was steel cased but i forget the brand definitely some sort of off brand not the normal wolf or Blazer steel. When I got home looked up online and found that this is not the the first time its happened.
Same thing
Another one Pistol explodes in deputys hand
Anyways here is the proof

that's what I said. Earlier that day my friend also said "why do you need eye protection?" Well now I'm sure he will not shoot with out it.

I'd like to see a beter/closer pic of the .45 acp round that blew.  On first glance it looks like an out of battery condition.

You bought the cheapest, junkiest, steel cased, loaded by Ivan after a he had a bottle of Vodka for lunch, ammo you could find, And lo and behold, one of the rounds was a grenade. Buy the cheapest shit ammo on the shelf, expect the cheapest shit results. Better luck next time.

No but this time probably,   BTW what do you say when a revolver KBs?
Sure polymer frames have less of a pressure tolerance than steel frames....
but I've seen pics of 1911s that KBed too.  Sometimes shit happens.

Why did the steel-case ammo cause this?

Dupe thread, doesn't belong in ammo forum anyway...
