I just came back from one of my local Walmart stores in Jacksonville FL. and picked up 3 boxes of .380 WWB value pk 100ct and 1 value pk of Federal 22L 550ct. I eneded up leaving 2 boxes of the 380 for for next poor sap to snag up Today would have been a perfect one if only I ran across some .45 cal |

wallyworld trips can be fun. I've been striking out lately.....but I know it's commin'! Yeah I have too! I called one of the other Walmarts around 5PM the other day looking for .45 cal and the guy in sporting goods told me as he was looking at his delivery sheet he noticed some was to arrive on the truck that night and to be there at 7AM the following morning, So before work I show up at Walmart around 6:30AM and go back to the sporting good dept and there's no on there (surprise, NOT). But I can see under the counter that they got some ammo in (and it appears to be 45), so I went to the electronics dept to get someone to help me, and the useless bastard told me they could not sell ammo until 7AM So there I wait until about 6:50AM and the sporting goods guy walks up and asked if he could assist and I said "yes", I would like to purchase some .45's. Guy looks underneath and says "all I have is 40 & 9mm" DOH! I told him that I called the day before and they said they were expecting a bunch of 45's, he said someone came in right after the truck got there and bought them all So I refused to leave empty handed and walked out with 200 rds. of 9mm which I do not need because I have 1800 rds. already <sigh> So even though I did not get any 45's today, it was still a good day getting some .380's. |

So why'd you get it? You might have skunked someone who actually needed it. BTW, Does anyone know the best Hollow points that can be bought at Walmart? |

I assume you are referring to semi-auto rounds? If so, the Winchester white box Personal Defense HP's are quite good. Not as good as premium SD HP's, but they perform good at a good price point. |
