I am in the process of acquiring my first .45, a USP45.  I am looking to buy a thousand rounds of something that is reliable, affordable, and reasonably accurate.  It MUST be 230 grain, preferably somewhere in the 800-900 fps range.  I've shot a lot of Win USA Q4170 through my dad's usp, and really like that.  I would like something that is comparable to that.

Any and all reccomendations are appreciated.

Hi, I can get you 1000 rounds of 230gr complete copper coated for $156 plus actual shipping.  These are brand new (not reloads) and the brass is reloadable.  Email me at [email protected] if interested.

Respectfully submitted,

CCI Blazer Aluminum cased seems to be a great price if you donot re-load.  I have shot a lot of 9mm, .40 and .45 without any problems.  Natchez has great sale prices! Can't beat that.

I have also shot SB, Wally Win. White box, PMC.

Can't beat the Wolf Price on .45, but I only shoot it in 1911 type of guns like my customized Colt and Para Limited. No problems and does not cause damage of any kind. I have shot a lot if you do not mind cleaning and don't mind in Okay grouping.

I stay away from shooting wolf only in my HK USP's.

My HK USP does not like wolf either.

I bought 1000 rds of the stuff before I realized this.  I would hate to waste the ammo so I went out and bought a Springfield 1911A1.  Works in the Springfield!

You guys have problem ejecting wolf ammo out of the HK's? Wondering if the old school internal extractor helped. They say that the internal extractor is there because it ejects cases of slightly varying lengths which was a problem in the WW1-WW2 era.

White Box Winchester (100rd) from Wal-Mart. I have yet to have any problems with it.

Same here. Great stuff. I have a class coming up that I am going to be using that and some PMC. Will see if the PMC shoots as good as the Winchester.
