What are your thoughts on Speer lawman ammunition in .45 and 9mm. Good value for the money? Reliable? Plinking only?

I think it's good stuff. I just picked up 1,000 rounds of .40 yesterday. It was inexpensive, and I plan to use it at the range mostly. It is reliable enough for carry if you are looking for a FMJ. I sometimes carry FMJ because being out where I am, I am much more worried about underpenetration in defense against wildlife than I am overpenetrating a person and hitting a bystander (what bystander, there's hardly ever any other people around). |
