A while back I bought an assortment of ammo off of a coworker, and in the mix was a small qty of .38 spl tracers....of course I didn't realize it until I shot them..I was surprised to say the least. I wound up shooting them all...10 rds out of a box of 50. They were in old OOOOOLD box of factory winchester olin. I think they were added after purchase...and their origin is unknown as the guy I bought them from got them from someone else a looooong time ago.
Anybody know if maybe USAF used to issue this stuff to pilots etc? I have asked around that seems the most plausible answer... Merry Christmas! |
