The shotshell ammo? Is it safe to shoot through my pistols? I know its for pistols. But will the lead build up or will it wear on my rifling?

Won't hurt your pistol, just your wallet.
Allegedly, its crap. Doesn't do a thing.
Don't waste your money on it.

I believe a large number of rattlesnakes would disagree with you.
It works "ok" for it's intended purpose.

Effective range on snakes is inside 10 feet or so but it works well there. Payload is SMALL and there is no real wad. The pellets are soft so no worries. SS

Wasted a water moccasin about 3-5,00 rounds ago with one in my Springfirld .45. It still shoots 2.5" groups at 25 yds with ammo it likes. Find something else to worry about, like that rash that won't go away......
