I have a Glock .40 I use as my home defense in the night stand.  I have T.A.P. ammo in it.  I was looking at the Glaser Safety Slug.  Does anybody know much about it or use it as their home defense ammo?  I live in a normal stucco house in a residental area here in FL.  I have offten thought on how well my shots would be in the middle of the night if awoke suddenly.  I would hate for one two penetrate a wall and go into a neigbohrs house and hit a friendly.

SORRY didn't hit the spell check before I sent it off!

Nobody here is likely to recommend Glasers to you, for a variety of legitimate reasons. They give rather shallow penetration and cost too much to shoot enough rounds for function and point-of-impact testing. I would recommend getting HSTs or Ranger T's for about 20% of the price per round so you can practice with them and see where and how well they shoot in your gun. This will also allow you to gain confidence in the rounds you are going to keep loaded in your gun, ...which can make more of a difference than you might think.
However, if your concerns are great enough that you really want a frangible load like the Glasers, then go with Glaser silver rather than Glaser blue. It uses larger pellets that will give slightly deeper penetration.

In my younger, more innocent, days I kept a nightstand gun with glasers being the first few rounds in the mag, out of the same kind of concerns you are having. I would always keep regular HPs loaded in the rest of the mag though, in case I did have to shoot at someone through a wall or some other barrier. Even back then I did not want to depend solely on Glasers if I ever did have to defend myself in my home.

I use either Federal HSTs or Winchester Ranger Ts  in my house gun. Glasors don't have enough penetration.

Yeah, Glasers would be a good snake round, but other than that I would recommend Gold Dots.

Thanks all, I will stick with my TAP ammo.  Thanks
