I have come up with the bright idea (maybe) to create a Web site dedicated to tracking the prices of ammunition across the country on a weekly basis.  This Web site will be completely user-driven (meaning I'll require your input) to track ammo prices at whatever location.  All you'll have to do is fill out a simple form, which will assist you automatically, with ammo manufacturer, price, and so on.  I'll include images to let you know at a glance which calibers have gone up, down, or remained static in price for a given week.

I'll also be implementing a reviews section where you can put your two cents in on any ammunition.

Sound good?  Any suggestions on what other information I should track?

I think it sounds like a great idea.  Just getting into shooting myself, and I never know where to buy ammo from and how much is a good price for the ammo I buy.  Sounds awesome.

I posted this on another part of ARFCOM's forums, and Zhukov has informed me that another community member is already persuing such a project.  The idea's been scrapped.
