You can't get blood out of a turnip!  Go with the 9mm.

What would the velocity of a 9mm be from a 2 1/2 inch barrel???

I've never seen a 2 1/2 9mm.  If you need to hide a gun in your Speedos get a .32.  Otherwise, 9mm is going to outclass the .32 by a mile.  Kahr make a 3 inch 9mm which is pretty small.

Of course it is a balance between size and cartridge but when you compare apples to apples (size) the advantage is less distinct.

This article from Kahr's sit is less than glowing but you are getting the 1,000 fps with twice the bullet weight.

If the original poster was still shopping, the NAA Guardian in 32NAA is interesting for being very compact yet delivering a 60gr bullet at 1,222 fps from a 2 1/2 inch barrel. NAA
