are they bad for your barrel? I'm debating if I should bulk on winchester value pack or blazer. and accuracy? Thanks!

Some say they're bad for the extractor, but I use aluminum cased ammo without any problems. The accuracy is fine for me.

its for a glock 19 and 92fs, I've shot them both but I'm a new handgun shooter i don't think I can compare accuracy with my shooting. also, what is the difference between these blazers?

I prefer the Blazer.  I think it is better quality than WWB.  And you can get it at Natchez for $5.89 if 10+ boxes.  So if you only want a half case that is the better deal.  I just bought some to hold me over until my case of Fiocchi gets to me.

I only had one problem out of my G23C with the aluminum cased ammo. the case peeled back on the bottom side when feeding and locked the gun up tight. I had to manually pull the extractor back to pull and lock the slide back and pry out the stuck round.

Not sure if anyone else has had issues with the CCI aluminum cased ammo. I bought 200 rounds of it and that was the only problem I have had.

Keltec specifically states not to use aluminum cased ammo with their rifles, as it may cause damage.  I'm not sure how much this extends to other guns.

Personally i don't use aluminum cased ammo simply because i cannot reload it. Buy factory for carry and reload for practice.

Ruger says not to use aluminum cased stuff in their PC4 due to higher pressures.  I don't know about their .40sw pistols though.

No problem with my Sig 226, Kahr MK9, XD9, and Taurus PT-111.

Ten thousand rounds of Blazer Aluminum Case through our Department GLOCK .40's per year. No problems. I have to make them malfunction for training drills by using dummy rounds. And aluminum is softer than steel, so it's not going to harm your chamber.

I went through 500 rds in my .40 P229 without a problem.  The only thing I didn't like was that they are more slippery-feeling and harder to pick up.

If they're going down your barrel, aluminum is the least of your worries!!!!!

"And aluminum is softer than steel, so it's not going to harm your chamber."

But aluminum oxide is harder than steel and every case has a thin coating of this onthe outside.

Maybe that is part of the manufacturers reason behind the warning?
Aluminum oxide is used to lap slides to frames on 1911s.
I do not use aluminum cases for plain old econimics.  If you reload the brass is worth having.

My .357 revolver hates aluminum. I broke the gun trying to get cases out of it.
But my autos love the CCI aluminum.

I've shot over 8,000 rounds of Blazer through my Glock 19.  About 8,300 total.  Only 4 malfunctions.  Back when Academy sports was selling it for 3.99 a box, I took advantage.  Purely a cost reason.  I cary Corbon but shoot Blazer.  I'm sure there are arguments aginst it, but it works for me.

I've shot them in 9mm, 40 and 45ACP.  No problems attributable to the ammo.
