Walmart told me they don't carry anything in that size.  Most other places I've called only have defensive loads and not very many at that.  I just bought a G20 and want to put some rounds through it to ensure proper function before I start strapping it to my body for carry.  I will buy defensive loads to the tune of doubletapammo but I just want same decent ball ammo for practice.  Anybody got a link or something for me?  Thanks.

I think the only place you can expect to consistently find reliable inexpensive 10mm is from your reloading bench.

Ditto that.  You can load the round from mild to wild, and the cost differences are neglible.  Probably no more than a few tenths of cent.  The only problem is that the cases are pretty expensive, from Starline they cost almost as much as the 44Mag cases.  After each range session I ALWAYS manage to loose a couple here and there.  Oh, well that is life.

BTW: Starline had a temporary "surcharge" for certain cases, and now they made it permanent.  If You think the market price rise of gold is breathetaking, checkout the base metals market.  The cost of zinc has gone up 4X, and copper has gone up 5X in the past 3 years.  Brass is composed of 70% copper and 30% zinc.

I like Georgia Arms ammo. 180gr. FMJs at 1100fps for 13.50 or 13.00 a bag if you order 100rds. They also have 155gr Gold dots at 1375fps for 16.50 bag of 50 or  16.00 a bag if you order 100rds. Its generally shipped same day also. Blazer is good for practice but ive noticed the price has gone up on it in a lot of places. I like Reed's stuff also.

Georgia Arms has a newer loading of the 180gf Gold Dots thats at 1150fps. Not a whole lot faster, but that extra bit helps.
