Just came back from Wally World and got some ammo... wanted to list pricing and let everyone know what's out there. List your local price if different from my listing! I list it with tax and per-round cost so to compare. Remington UMC 250rds Box: 9mm $31.96 + $2.80 = $34.76/250 ===> $0.14/rd 40SW $43.78 + $3.83 = $47.61 ===> $0.19/rd 45ACP $52.98 + 4.64 = $57.62 ===> $0.23/rd Compare to Ammoman's current listing for cheap FMJ: 9mm American Eagle 115gr $149/1000 ===> $0.15/rd 40SW Lawman 180gr $189/1000 ===> $0.19/rd 45ACP American Eagle 230gr $229/1000 ===> $0.23/rd I used Ammoman cause his price includes shipping which is the cheapest going to west coast. For those closer, maybe Outdoormarksman or Natchez could be cheaper. Too bad for taxes, if not... Wally would be cheap. But compare to anything else, shopping at WallyWorld does not limit you to get 1k rounds everytime you buy. Also... UMC JHP in 100rds box: 9mm $15.97 + $1.40 = $17.37 ===> $0.17/rd 40SW $21.98 + $1.93 = $23.91 ===> $0.24/rd 45ACP $27.68 + $2.42 = $30.10 ===> $0.30/rd Cheap for defense ammo... someone had a posting about testing done to this round compare to a Golden Saber. I think it compared pretty well... for the cost, not bad for storage for rainly days. Just sharing info... ~nb |
