So, I am new to .45 acp and have a issue I need some help with. I went to the store and bought some federal .45 ammo to shoot in my newly aquired 1911. Well, I always inspect all of my ammo before i shoot it. As I was looking at the rounds when i got home the seat depth of one of the bullets is noticeably different then the rest of the box.(pushed in further to better explain) So, any suggestions on what to do? I will probably just toss the thing because i figured it would cause a increase in chamber pressure and don't want that. (and by toss i mean i will render it unshootable before i dispose of it.)What say you? I have been shooting federal .40 s&w a lot and have never had a problem and was curious. |

Well It is hard to explain but it is noticeably different. maybe 1/16 of an inch. I will have to measure it exactly when i get home. It is only one round out of the box with no noticeable marks and it was bought at walmart so the chambering issue is out i would think. Thanks guys. |
