Just took my new Walther PPS .40 S&W to the range and put 50 rds through it.  (it was cold!) Had two incidents.  One I had a FTF with the round @ about a 45 deg angle.  The other was a smokestack with a complete round.  Both of these occured with the last round in the mag.  Any ideas?............Thanks.

I've got a PPS .40 as well.  My problem is with the magazines not ejecting correctly.  I've never had a FTF or FTE but from what you're describing the problems might be related.  I really wanted to be impressed with this pistol but so far I think it might have to be replaced with a Glock G27, G36, Springfield XD subcompact in .40, or XD .45 compact.  The best thing about the Walther is it's narrow profile.  It's a great CCW in a nice sized round but I don't have the confidence in it to keep as my primary carry weapon.

new gun, loose grip, no oil, may need some break in time for the gun and you.
