I need a threaded barrel for my Kimber TLE/RL II.  In your experienced opinion, who makes the best threaded barrels for a 1911?  I've been looking at these two companies:

http://www.stormlakebarrel.com/index

and

www.jarvis-custom.com

What do you guys think?  Any experience?  Thanks!!

Of the two i would pick Jarvis. The better option is get a barrel form clark thats setup for the compensators, but without the comp. They are threaded. You can also buy an extended Match barrel and have ADCO thread it for you

What ever barrel you pick you still need to have the barrel fitted to your frame and the bushing to the slide.  Labor is probally going to be at least $100 if not much more.

Good luck to you.
