Got CDNN Investments latest sales email and there are a handful of Beretta Cougars, except they are all DAO. Was wondering if it was possible to have a capable smith bring the DAO pull down to 3-5lbs?

Probably not that low.

You need enough tension on the spring to reliably pop the primer, and that low is asking for trouble.

Can't hurt to ask a good 'smith, though
