I've ordered a trident-9 for my M&P... still waiting so no range report.  As for price check Major Malfunction out, I think he has the best prices.

I'm waiting on a Osprey9 that will most likely go on a M&P.

I've ordered the threaded barrel from S&W.

may also go with a Sig S4 or HK

the Spec-Ops barrel was designed to work with the Gemtech piston.  AAC and others make a compatible piston for them now.  I have a Gemtech Multi-Mount on my M&P Spec-Ops and its fantastic.  Since the barrel is LH thread, i actually used a bit a blue locktite on the mount itself b/c it's RH thread and they were difficult to keep together.  Just go with the Tundra if you want that route, i got the Multi-Mount b/c it was what was in stock at my local SOT. i have no complaints other than the fact that i had issue with the LH/RH thread problem.

EDIT:

Here's a couple pics of mine

All threaded silencers will unscrew. It isn't a thread direction problem.

you obviously did no comprehend what i said.

the Gemtech Multi Mount is a 2 piece suppressor.  you have the "can" and then you have the thread adapter. the thread adapter screws into the suppressor itself, which intern, allows it to attach to the barrel.   the adaptors are made so you can use the same suppressor for either a threaded or 3-lug barrel. see below

now, since the adapter is RIGHT hand thread, and the barrel is LEFT hand thread, when you try to tighten one, it loosens the other.  Why? well b/c they are threaded opposite directions.  therefor, I put a drop of blue lock tite on the the thread adapter to hold it into the suppressor better and the 2 pieces dont unscrew as I i tighten it onto the barrel.  when one part is lefty loosey, righty tighty, and the other part it lefty tighty, righty loosey, they tend to work against each other.

I use a Trident on my M&P.  No problems.  Worked just fine, no need to change or modify springs.

Did you need to get taller sights?

Never mind, I checked the specs.
