| have a guy who wants to trade me a mint 6906 for a springfield XD40 like new, what do you think? |
| Well, since no one else is answering...no. I wouldn't. Of course, if I owned an XD I'd prolly want to get rid of it as quickly as possible, but the XD is worth more. If it was the 6906 + money, maybe. But not straight up. Check gunbroker for a general idea of prices. Yes if he wanted to trade you a M&P. |

$350-$400 depending on "mint" if it's NIB mint maybe a bit more. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=154092825 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=146953994 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=149994329 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=146989923 The values of the two guns probably aren't that far apart it would come down to whether you were getting some cash or if you like the Smith better. |
| well since I only pd. 375 for the xd40 I figured it was not a bad deal. So I am now the owner of a like new 15 year old 6906. I know it has been fired but I cannot find any evidence of it.Thanks for the input as I have been out of the market for some time and really did not know what things are going for, hell my last new ar purchase was a colt for 531.00 out the door. |
