I am in the market for a carry .45 and i dont want a glock.... i was turned on the the mp at the range the other day and it brought me here. I was looking at buds gun shop and they have one and the model is 109308, and i went to smiths website and looked it up and it said that it had no thumb safety, which is what i want. but my questions is.....does this model have the mag disconnect? i dont want the mag disconnect. if anyone has any ideas or insight please let me know thanks

Removing the disconnect is pretty easy, but you'll need the spring from a Bic pen or similar to make sure the sear disconnect stays in place. I seem to be unable to find the link which shows all the different M&P model numbers and the breakdown of features, so...

Or just remove the magazine from the gun, rack the slide, and see if it dry fires. |
