This past weekend I was able to take the M&P 9mm FS out for an outing. 150 rounds of 9mm.
Pros: -This gun feels absolutely amazing in my hands -Probably the softest recoiling 9mm I've ever shot, with the only exception of the Beretta 92 Cons/problems/stoppages: -4 type 3 malfunctions The groupings were definitely nothing worth writing home about, but its just my not being used to the trigger (i'm a glock guy). I sorely wanted this gun to do extremely well, but the Type 3 malfs were extremely discouraging. Should I send it to S&W or should I just shoot some more rounds out of it? Break in period? Please advise! |

| my M&P as well as one that belongs to a friend both had severe failure to extract problems, S&W did what ever their service department did and it was fixed...in both cases, but I have heard of lots of examples of M&P's specifically in 9mm exhibiting this failure to extract problem.... |
