Recently became the proud owner of this pistol!  Really like it, but it has a surprisingly heavy trigger break.  Anyone else experience this?  If so, who would you recommend in doing a trigger job, such as S&W Performance center?  The catelog quotes around $100 to do this work and other things like polish the feed ramp.

Thanks for the advice fellow M&P owners.

I'd suggest dry-firing it a lot and/or shooting it at the range. My M&P9 full-sized had a pretty rough trigger to begin with, but it has smoothed out nicely. If after that you are still unhappy, 2 gunsmiths that are highly regarded by the M&P community are: Bowie Tactical Concepts and Dan Burwell
