Depending on the usual variables, somewhere between $325-400, IMO.

Bob's about right on the price. I paid 324.00 for a new 6" 20 years ago. You take inflation over the years into account, I would say the low 300's is a fair price for a used one.

He's asking $400. It has a custom belt and holster too, but I don't need it at the top of the price range.

I wouldn't blow it off too quickly. A good holster for a 8" revolver isn't found at your nearest 7-11. That alone would cost close to $100 for a leather one.
I bet if you threw $350 at him, he'd take it. |
