The stock 2.0 triggers on both my pistol is damn light, but the hinged trigger continues to suck. Already have a set of Dawson FO on the way. |

View Quote I purchased a Shield 45 2.0 Performance Center last weekend and swapped the trigger from one of my Shield Plus Performance Center guns to see if it would work. It does and is a huge improvement even over the Performance Center Hinged Trigger. I called S&W Customer Service on Thursday to ask about the new Shield Plus Triggers and was told that they were not currently available for individual small parts sales and probably wouldn't be available until after the move to Maryville. |

Anyone running a magwell on a full-size 9mm 2.0? Just some cursory searching shows Floyds seems to be the popular one. Seems they all need to be ran with that maker's base pads, but I did find one from Carver Custom that can be used with factory pads. I'm not really hung up on running an extended base pad since that means I could bump up capacity some.

However, whatever monkey S&W used to cut the front dovetail did so on the small size, then used a damn press to put the stock sight in. It was a bitch to fit. and I f'd up and went 2 or 3 swipes too many with the file so it just slides in and out now. Red Lock-tite is holding it in. Ill replace it sometime. https://i.imgur.com/bicgHXWh.jpg View Quote The apex kit is nice and stock springs all around is too light IMO for carry use. Think we have the same setup and its money |

I had a homeless RMR so I picked up a 4” compact 2.0 today. The slide also works great on my full-size frame. Manual safety delete will be the first thing done to it.

Some people are front serration haters but it does make the gun easier to manipulate when you are running a dot. |

I'm also a huge fan of the improvements over the original M&P, in both function and appearance. I finally got around to doing the thumb safety delete, now I just gotta contact S&W to get the frame plugs. They ought to send them with the gun from the factory, enough people remove them and it probably costs more to ship them than it does to make them. Attached File |

Took a one day, 700 round RDS pistol instructor course at Ridgeline yesterday. Took me a minute to knock the rust off, it’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to do the type of shooting I like to do.

I have thought about stealing them from a Spec or a FPC but since I'm not interested in keeping either of those because of the grip size figured I would lose too much on them. |

I can confirm that these are a pretty rad redesign which is why I was inclined to pick them up in the spec kit. |
