I am looking for replacement sights for my S&W Model 19-3. It is a blued 4" with the adjustable rear sights and fixed front. I would like some ideas for replacement rear sights and also something for the front sight. It previously had nail polish on the front sight but I took that off, didn't work so well and was old, faded, and chipping. Any help greatly appreciated.

On rear sights you have three options.
1.  Replace with a factory rear sight.  You can buy new sight assemblies from S&W or from Brownell's.
You can buy these with black or white outline blades, OR you can replace your existing blade with either.

2. Buy a new Millett rear sight.  These are drop-in replacements that fit th existing S&W sight cuts.
Millet's come with your choice of plain black target blade, white outline, or two white dots for a three dot set up.
You can buy these Millett sets from Brownell's or Midway.

3. Cylinder & Slide Shop sell a unique FIXED rear sight that converts the gun to a fixed, non adjustable sight for heavy-duty use.

For the front sight, I "think" the 19-3 still has the front sight machined as part of the barrel and is non-replaceable.
About the only option here is to have a colored insert installed in the blade, or just paint the blade with model airplane paint.
This is durable, and comes in many colors.

Ya it has the front sight blade machined with the barrel. Thanks for the help, I will look into those.
