Hey folks, I just recently bought a S&W M&P Compact .40 as my carry. The only "issue" I had with it when I bought it was that the secondary mag didn't have the grip extension which made use of that mag slightly less comfortable. But that is definitely not enough to truly complain. At any rate, out of boredom I decided to look and see if I could just try to buy the grip extensions since extra mags are between $36 and $46. I couldn't find just the extensions, so I then decided to call S&W customer service. When I asked the representative, she simply sent out two grip extensions without skipping a beat. She didn't even give me a chance to offer to pay! This is the second time I've had really good customer service from S&W, and I felt the need to spread the word. I've heard people say bad things about S&W, but I see no reason or validity to have a negative view of these folks. They're nice, they're fast, and they listen.... S&W has quickly become one of my favorite companies! Have any of you had similar service? |

Yup from S&W. I bought a S&W M&P 45 a day after a rebate and I asked them about it. They said I can't qualify but they did give me a 26% saving on any order for magazines and also sent me the Military Grade Takedown with lanyard loop for free. Great group of guys Smith & Wesson. |
That's pretty cool of them to still help you out even after the rebate expiration. My first good customer service from them was actually through Walther. I talked through the same people though. I bought a Walther G22 (used) and it was having severe FTE issue. It kept stove piping every other round. So I called them and they sent me a new extractor, new extractor spring, new charging handle, the list goes on... all of it for free and it came to me within a week! They're some awesome people... |
