Anyone here shoot a 625-2 w/ .45 auto rim brass? Currently using 9.7 g of unique w/ a hard cast 250 gr. rnfp. Anyone else have any good load suggestions? |
| hock.gifI hope that load is a typo. Don't ruin a good gun. That is a maximum load in .45 Long Colt!!! Look at this site for safe loads. http://www.reloadammo.com/reload.htm |

I shoot .45 acp out mine as well, seems to like 5.5 grains unique. I use the same load out of my 1911. Point of impact is the same w/ 230 grain rn cast lead loads. Loading & unloading the moon clips is not alot of fun. I heard the plastic (not sure of the manufacturer) are alot easier, but they do wear out. Midway has a pretty good deal on the starline auto rim brass, It seems to wear forever. I am on the 8th loading on the first 100 I got & still looking good. |

I was recommended this mooning/demooning tool by a friend/fellow ARFCOM'er. The tool works great, and makes loading and unloading moon clips a breeze. www.mooncliptool.com/ |
