Did S&W make any 329PD's before they started installing internal locks?

Introduced in 2003, so I would guess only for that year, maybe 2004??????
S&W should be able to answer that accurately.

There was a model called a "329 Alaskan" just before the 329PD with the lightweight frame. But the only one I ever saw had the lock. Maybe some were produced pre-lock.
