Just got my 2.0 back from SAW after 3 weeks. Sent it to them after consistentky failure to load. For a bit, I also had trouble with the slide not going fully into battery. It was sticking back maybe 1-2mm. A tap on slide would put it into battery. We're talking about multiple rounds in a row. Could be ammo. Anyways they replaced the barrel and recoil spring. Can't wait to test it out and see what happens. |

I brought mine to the range last week for the 1st time. Put 150 FMJ's through it without incidence. I really liked the gun minus the sights...both front and rear. I will replace both. My 10 rd mag can now be loaded by hand. The 12 rd mag has loosened-up considerably, but still requires help with the last 2. Both mags are EXTREMELY difficult to insert into the pistol on a closed slide and would be impossible to do quickly under stress. Minus these shortcomings, I love how comfortable it is to carry. |

While it is bigger, I definitely wouldn’t consider that “much bigger.” Especially when that extremely small size increase comes with a 66.7% increase in mag capacity. |
| I can appreciate what the carry comp series is trying to do, but the slide work looks awful to me (not just the BG2.0). The slide and frame aesthetics/ergonomics on the regular BG2.0 is the best looking S&W polymer frame pistol yet in my opinion. I carry a full size M&P2.0 and would love to have the BG2.0 aesthetics/ergonomics in a full size. The BG2.0 has a better trigger than my full size M2.0, no contest. The stock, but updated flat trigger in my M2.0 was awful and going APEX forward set sear was a must. |

I do think the one part of the new slide milling that was nicely done is the much deeper scallop/cut that creates that ledge/wing effect that some other pistols have (e.g. Echelon).

Granted, that is a gun problem, but a holster should address or take into account gun design. |

I picked up a 2.0 this past week and will add my experience to the thread... Date code: Feb 2025 From the factory... Front sight perfectly centered. Rear sight very slightly to the right. Shot very tight groups 1" left of POA at 7 yards... moved front sight .014" left and now shoots perfectly at POA. About 70 rounds of CCI 95gr Blazer 100% reliable. 880 FPS on Chronograph. About 35 rounds of Hornady 90gr FTX 100% reliable. 925 FPS on Chronograph. Shot 2 rounds of CCI Speer Gold Dot. Both failed to feed. Didn't bother trying to shoot anymore. This was an old box that was in my basement for at least 15 years. Both rounds nosed up to the feed ramp and jammed there. |

I forgot to mention that I finally had a chance to shoot my bought new BG 2.0. It was shooting about 4 inches left of center at 10 yards. The range officer kept telling me those little guns have a tendency to shoot left because everyone sticks their finger too far into the trigger guard. I told him I was already aware and the sights just needed to be adjusted. He wound up asking if he could shoot one round so he could see where it shot for him. He was all surprised when we couldn't really tell where his round went. I am sure it went further to the left than my shots were going, and it blended in with the other shots way in the cardboard. I used my Wheeler sight pusher to try and adjust it, but it would get hard to turn the adjustment handle, and I would give it just a little but more oomph and the sight would pop too far over to the other side. I kept going back and forth like this for about ten tries. I finally settled on somewhere near not too far. Hopefully that is the only adjustment I need to make, but at 4 inches, I am willing to bet I will also have to adjust the rear sight a little. As I was checking into the range, I noticed they had a used one in the display. I wound up buying it on the way out. $290 plus tax. No box but it came with both magazines. I am hoping whoever turned it in simply had ammo problems and didn't like it. I noticed Fiocchi is finicky in the gun. It got better, but at first, every two or three rounds would hang up during chambering and the slide would barely stay out of battery. A quick tap sent it home the rest of the way. The PPU and Underwood all cycled perfectly. One thing I did notice, it was quite hot outside so I was sweating quite a bit, and because they were wet my hands were barely able to rack the gun because the slide is so small and the recoil assembly is pretty stiff on it. First time that has happened to me. Might also be a combination of getting older and weaker hand strength, but it is definitely small and slick with wet hands. |

Just over 350 rounds in with mine. Had to shift my front sight a tad bit over and have no issues hitting where I need to at 15 yards. Zero malfunctions at this time. Mine was sent back to S&W early on for a magazine related issue, but it did come back with the ramp polished. I have fed Federal HST and Critical Defense through mine in addition to typical ball ammo. I have no interest in the comped version, hopefully it makes the non-comped model cheaper as I would like to eventually pick up another. |

Mine doesn't like brass bullets for some reason. Doesn't hang up every time but more than I like. No issues with any hollow-points or copper jackets bullets. For the slide grip, you might try to Talon grip tape for the slide. My wife had issues pulling the slide back on mine but when I put the Talon grip tape on it, she could pull it back just fine. It's great little stuff and I put it on Dad's LCP too. After we put the tape on my BG2.0 and she could pull it back, we bought her one too. |

Mine had 2 light primer strikes out of 50 rounds on AAC 95gr. Ran perfect on Federal Hydra-shock deep. I have the talon grip on mine and I like it: Attached File |

| I just picked up the Bodyguard 2.0 on Thursday. I went to the range yesterday with it and shot 150rds. No malfunctions, smooth as butter. I do have to drift the front sight a little to the left as it came off centered to the right from the factory and I was shooting slightly left. No big deal. I have to say though, this BG 2.0 has rendered my Glock 42 obsolete. |

I got a used 2.0 off of GB. Got a Muddy River Tactical pocket holster and went to the range. It's a defensive pocket gun that's not bad at all. The safety is a non issue for me. Works just fine. Clicks down with little effort and engaging it take noticeably more effort. Not a big deal to me. The sights are just fine for minute of man but could be much better. Searching for options to replace what the factory provided. It's a nicely made 380. Think miniature M&P. Will it replace my P-32? Probably |

Just finished my first range trip with the BG2; what a cool pocket pistol. Fired 100 ball and about 50 HPs. Results: 100 Blaser 95gr FMJ - 827 fps 20ish Winchester Ranger-T 95gr - 908 fps 20ish Hornady Black 90gr - 873 fps 10 Handloads w/ 90gr XTP over 3N37 - 813 fps The only trouble was two times the slide didn't go all the way to battery with the Hornady Black; just a bump on the back of the slide made it ready to fire, but the first round it happened to sounded a bit underpowered and left powder on my hand. After bumping the slide it clicked and the next round went off fine but hung up a smidgen before full battery chambering the next round and wouldn't go bang. I appreciate that it didn't fire maybe 1/8" out of battery though. That was with the *12 round mags: I only could get 11 in the mag until I got home tonight. I used both magazines and confirmed they would feed while loaded under a +1. The rumor is true: out of the box it shot left and low. I drifted the sights to get it real close to center with most of the ammo. I got a little slide bite but I'm not bend out of shape about it. It's definitely noticeable how much easier it is to control over a Keltec P3AT, which I still love. It's been a great pistol. This one has much better sights but that will be the first ting I replace. They're great sights out of the box, but I'm too used to square notch sights to give them up. Oh, and mine has a safety but I don't use it. Trigger is perfectly serviceable for this gun, and I'm sure will get better with a few hundred more rounds. Pic  |

Going to have to cut a coil off the 12 rd. even with a loader its a no go. Before I take my pistols out to break in with live ammo, tons of manual break in and snapcap dry fire. Dremel tip polishing is being seriously considered. The trigger just does not sit well with me so got a Galloway for it. Hogue slip on grip, and some odd ball pinky extension for thr 10rd. Debating the xs sights. |

Putting an optic on a deep carry pistol kind of defeats the purpose of it. Might as well move up to something like a Sig365 and 9mm if you want an optics carry gun. Just my opinion. |
