Has anyone had work done on their revolver by S&W?  I am looking at their two packages they offer(Master action job and Combat revolver job).  Does anyone have any input regarding the smith's at S&W and/or these servervices they provide?  Thank you.

Not personally, but a friend had his 625 done last week and is very happy with the results.
I "fondled" it and agree with him...very light and smooth action.

Before you spend a gazillion $$ on a trigger job, simply replace the factory springs with a kit from Wolf springs. S&W revolvers are smooth as silk, 99% of the time. All you probably want is a lighter pull rather than a hair trigger crisp pull, no?

Cruise their web site for options for their revolver kits. I've used them on a lot of my guns, all their springs are 1st class.

I actually just ordered a kit from wolf for my 686. It hasn't arrived yet but I'll make a post when it's installed.

On the other hand, I didn't really need it. Just doing it out of curiosity. I haven't had a complaint about the 686 in it's stock configuration. Nice gun.

I got a 586 not too long ago.   I like the stock trigger pull, but a wider target trigger would make it perfect for me.
