Couldn't pass up the current prices & rebate on the Shield, got my new 9mm yesterday.
Now, regarding the grip adapter on the 8rd mag, I'm looking for ideas to keep it from moving on the mag that aren't permanent (ie: no Super Glue).
I'm thinking just a drop of Elmer's Glue-All would be enough to secure the adapter, yet would still allow me to remove the adapter for mag cleaning in the future.
Any other ideas? TIA!...

You don't have to remove the spacer to remove the base plate, spring and follower, a drop or two of gorilla glue between the spacer and the mag body being careful not to get it on the base plate should work.
Or spend the money on HYVE extensions for added capacity.

Duh! (slaps forehead).
Thanks for what's glaringly obvious to everyone but me!

I am just curious why you want to attach it?  I own one and don't really see the need but am interested in your thoughts behind the idea.  What about some kind of rubber cement or possibly a small dab of some type of caulk.

I've read reports of the adapter shifting on its own over time when carried as a reload (that's my only concern). Rubber cement sounds like a good idea, just what I was considering, thx!

I bet hot glue would hold it and be easy to get off.

After putting 1800 rounds through 2 Shields, I've never had an issue with a shifted extension piece. They shift every time I drop a mag, but I've not run into a problem with seating a mag with the piece shifted.
